- Slightly Insulting Chicago Posters
Chicago is a city defined by its neighborhoods, each with its own personality and vibe. This project aims to poke fun at what makes each unique, highlighting why Chicagoans love, hate, or love to hate, the neighborhoods they work, play and live in. The type and design for each poster is carefully chosen, drawing inspiration from the art and culture of the neighborhood, as well as the snarky observation about it.
Designers Jeni Brendemuehl & Lauren Schroer, and writer RC Jones, are happy to be in Chicago and view Slightly Insulting Chicago Posters as a great opportunity to explore type and design while creating a love letter for their adopted city.
