- Design Propaganda
The design propaganda posters are a self-initiated project to promote the message of design and at the same time to celebrate the modern design movement, 5 posters were originally created as a part of the 2007 Singapore Design Festival but completed as 8 posters in total with some modifications in 2009
Tnop Wangsillapakun is a designer born in Thailand. He received his Bachelor of Fine Art in visual communication arts from Rangsit University, Bangkok in 1993. Right after graduating, he started working as a graphic designer at J. Walter Thompson, Bangkok. Two years later, Tnop joined TBWA Bangkok as an art director.
In 1996, he came to the United States to study graphic design at Savannah College of Art and Design, Georgia, where he received his Master degree in 1998. He then moved to Chicago to work with Carlos Segura at Segura Inc. Tnop has worked with many big-name clients, including Corbis Images, DC comics, Nike USA, Esquire Magazine and Coca-Cola Thailand.
His work has won many awards and been featured in many books and renowned magazines inside and outside of the U.S. In 2005, he left Segura Inc. and started tnop™ design. In 2007, Tnop was selected as one of the three speakers to present their works at the annual AIGA Fresh Talent event in Chicago.
