Description

Transparency of the Self

I view creativity as an expression of more than my own. To claim it exclusively to me is misleading. I desire transparency and authenticity in all I do, as an individual within my relationships, and within my work as an artist. The creative process should be a wondrous conversation, a collaboration with something beyond ourselves; a transparency of the self.

Growth and Growing

This piece was directly influenced by my desire to grow in all respects. The growth process is so humbling and so special, so I wanted to create a work to emphasize the beauty of its course and its results. Growth and growing. A humbling endeavor.

This is my Heart

This piece was created as the footnote for my three main Typeforce works. It serves to explain my works’ purpose in the show, and their relationship to one another. When my heart beats and overflows — it does so because it has been filled to the brim. It searches and longs to be touched. To grow, to love and express its imagination, its creativity.

Rest for the Weary

When speaking of passions, the concept of love runs deep. Loving your neighbor, your family, and your calling in life is so special. To me it certainly is a breath of fresh air, a sense of calm and peace. I know the people that love me give me a strong measure of grace, and the emphasis of this peace is the beating heart compels an authentic love. What is love. It is a sigh of relief for the weary and a chronicled testament of grace.
